OMG! Peacekeepers spotted filming at a cotton open field in Georgia! We're not entirely sure if this is really District 11's crop (cotton) fields, but since it was the only District where fields were described in the books (see above) when Katniss & Peeta were on the Victory Tour, we think that it is safe to assume. We also haven't heard where exactly in Georgia these photos were taken, but according to the "little research" that we did, most cotton fields in Georgia are located south of Atlanta.
“Now the crops begin, stretched out as far as the eye can see. Men, women and children wearing straw hats to keep off the sun straighten up, turn our way, take a moment to stretch their backs as they watch our train go by.”
