Nominate Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and The Hunger Games for 'Do Something Awards'

VH1's annual Do Something Awards, in partnership with DoSomething.org, acknowledges celebrities who lend their time and effort in doing community service and who inspire others to do the same. Today, VH1 has opened a nomination voting where fans can choose their favorite celebrities and pop culture icons to be nominated in various categories. Both our Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth are listed as possible nominees for the Movie Star: Male category, while The Hunger Games is listed in the film category.
Josh Hutcherson: Is the youngest recipient of the Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Media Awards for his work with the group Straight But Not Narrow.
Liam Hemsworth: Served as an ambassador of the Australian Childhood Foundation, a charity that works to put a stop to child abuse.
The Hunger Games: Tackled issues like severe poverty, starvation, and effects of war through the story of children stuggling to feed their under-fed communities.

So, head over to VH1 to VOTE for The Hunger Games, Josh and Liam for them to be formally nominated! Final voting opens in July.

The 2012 Do Something Awards will take place in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 19th and air on Tuesday, August 21st, 2012 at 9:00 PM ET on VH1.
